Naming Your Business
Every business first starts up as an idea. This idea usually fills a need, provides a new product or service, or is simply a manifestation of a someones’ lifelong dream. Naming this business could be one of your biggest business decisions.
Here are six tips for naming your business:
- The name needs to sound good when it’s said aloud
- Use a name that has meaning to it and conveys a benefit
- Beware of the initials
- Make sure you can trademark the name
- Is the .com available?
- Test it out on Google
